i went to giraffe tonight with taylor, emma and sam.
it was fantastic.
i’m tipsy at the moment, so i will continue the rest of this tomorrow.
hi, i’m back again.
like i was saying, we all went out for dinner at giraffe in blackheath.
the food was so amazing.
there was a branch in bromley that taylor and i used to go to but we haven’t really been since we moved to hither green.
emma suggested we go to giraffe for our christmas dinner and we were both really happy with that idea.
(i was just excited to have the steak again)
there was a slight issue when we got there, essentially they didn’t have the christmas food available even though when emma had booked it online, she had opted for the christmas food.
tensions were rising but the waitress was able to diffuse the situation with a discount and a free bottle of prosecco.
taylor and i got the nachos to share, they were so delicious and in my opinion, have just the right amount of nacho to cheese to sauce ratio.
i don’t know about taylor, but i find the sauce a bit spicy so my mouth is on fire afterwards.
for mains i opted for the steak, rare of course, which came with salad, fries and a garlic butter.
i’ve always loved giraffe’s steaks, and they didn’t disappoint!
whilst we were eating, we had an a continuous supply of cocktails as it was two for one all night.
i chose the ‘mango colada’ which tasted so, so good.
in total i had three, the first one wasn’t that nice, a bit watery. but the second and third one were really tasty.
even though i was full after dinner, i still decided to have the rich chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.
it was far too much for me to finish but it was definitely a good choice.
over all i give the food five out of five giraffes.
